My company has been working successfully with a shelter operator in Sonora for several years. I would like to know if anyone can direct me to some materials on the current tax law for corporations? [I know that the law changed last year to go to a flat tax.]
I'm trying to determine if it is cheaper to incorporate than stay in a shelter? If you're aware of any checklist or to-do list for incorporating in Mexico and computing the current tax structure, it would be helpful.

The company I work for is going through this process right now. Even with the change of tax law, my understanding is that all corporate income tax paid in Mexico are a tax credit against US taxes. We've got our big 4 consulting agency looking into this for us as a I write. I'll keep you posted as I get their feedback.
A bit later today, I'll post my todo list as we work on this. I can't claim that it is comprehensive but I think it is at least a good starting point.
