Tecate Investment Background
Tecate, made famous by the internationally known Mexican beer of the same name, is located 50 miles to the east of Tijuana. Not traditionally a manufacturing center, it has recently landed the new Toyota manufacturing plant. With a looser labor market, close proximity to the border, an eager investment promotion agency and a quiet enjoyable atmosphere, Tecate is an up and coming manufacturing location in Baja California.

Investment incentives for each city will be administered by the city's investment promotion agency. This is a government agency (or non profit organization) whose goal is to encourage investment in the region.
